ABOUT WILLIAM CARMODY
William Carmody, M.Ed., Ed.S., MBA, LMHC, NCC is the founder of Counseling Hope, a practice with offices located in Maitland, Florida, that serves Maitland, Winter Park, and Orlando, and Windermere, Florida, that serves Windermere, Isleworth, Bay Hill, Dr. Phillips, Ocoee and Winter Garden. Bill has been working as a counselor since graduating from the University of Florida with his Masters Degree in Counseling as well as his Specialist Degree in Counseling. In 2009 Bill founded Counseling Hope in Orlando Florida.
William Carmody specializes in marriage counseling, couples counseling and individual counseling. Additionally, Bill has extensive experience working with individuals and couples that are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction and substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, stress management, as well as health and and wellness issues.
Bill has been certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Therapist focused on helping people work through important life issues, to help each individual find fulfillment and satisfaction in life.
Bill has had particular success working with individuals and couples who have lost their passion for life and who want to move toward living their life to the fullest and making their dreams reality.
Bill earned his undergraduate Degree from Rollins College, his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Institute of Technology, and his Master’s Degree as well as Specialist Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida.
Additionally, Bill has completed post-graduate training at Harvard Medical School in Clinical Mind/Body Medicine.
Bill has also been trained and certified in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
He is a Nationally Certified Counselor as certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors(NBCC), a member of the American Counseling Association(ACA), the Association for Specialists in Group Work(ASGW), International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors(IAAOC), and the Association for Creativity in Counseling(ACC)
ABOUT WENDY DONALD
Wendy Donald, MA., LMHC is a licensed mental health counselor with Counseling Hope. Wendy holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Mental Health Counseling and is a member of the Mental Health Counselor’s Association of Central Florida. Wendy has been working as a therapist since graduating with her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
Wendy Donald specializes in marriage counseling, couples counseling and individual counseling. Additionally, Wendy has worked with diverse populations in a variety of settings and has extensive experience working with individuals and couples that are struggling with life transitions, stress, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression and past trauma issues.
Wendy is passionate about providing support that is warm, and caring to her clients. She believes that everyone has the ability to grow, heal and find happiness and self-acceptance. Wendy offers a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate space, to help her clients discover solutions, to resolve conflicts, and to strengthen and deepen relationships in their lives.
Wendy’s approach, is a collaborative approach that utilizes many different proven modalities to help her clients achieve a greater understanding of themselves, their relationships and the world around them. Wendy tailors her work with her clients to address their individual needs.
Wendy is determined to help guide clients to a place where they can come to realizations and conclusions that will help guide their patterns of behavior and support their goals. Wendy works closely with clients to assist them in learning new tools and developing new skills. Wendy loves helping and guiding her clients with practical steps and solutions that move them toward the wholeness they seek.
